Motivational speeches

5 August 2017
I discovered yesterday that listening/watching inspirational speeches gives me a HUGE motivation boost. I was talking with my boyfriend about how I see my life and what I want but that I often feel so unmotivated, and he recommended me to listen/watch on YouTube some motivational speeches.

For example I've watched the one from Rocky Balboa to his son: " Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. But ya gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody! Cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that!"

When I've watched this, it was like someone gave me a slap in the face. I felt so motivated afterwards that I even came out to my friends and family on social media that I have a blog, which I was so anxious about and I thought I would never be able doing this. I was too afraid of the comments, I was insecure about myself and the things I love.
My conclusion: I felt relieved. I actually don't care what negativity people would send to me because I know what I'm doing and why I do it.
