How to feel more in control

I think that having control something is that everyone want or need in their life. We often find ourselves in situations where we are totally out of control and don't know how to get a grip again. I thought of 3 steps which could help you to take back control. 

You are the solution
You are are a part of the situations you or others create, you are the one who makes choices and decisions. This also means that you're the solution too, which means that you are able to change something. Take your responsibilities, don't just sit down and wait until something would change, make it happen.

Set goals for yourself
What are the things in your life that you would like to change? Most people know what they absolutely don't want in their life, but what DO you want? I think that this is a important thing because when you know in which kind of direction you want with your life, you can take a grip on that when you feel like losing control. You don't need any specific details (it could be, but it's not necessary), this will become clear as soon as you move towards your goal.

Trust yourself
Have faith in yourself, you can't evolve in life if you don't even trust yourself. Everything that happens in your life, good or bad, will make you grow as a person. Experiences will make you wiser and stronger. I truly believe that you have to experience sadness to know what happiness is. There will always be bad days, but that is perfectly normal. Take a deep breathe, be proud of yourself for every step you take and remind yourself that everything will be fine.
